Upon completion of the gear, the unit is inspected for conformance, any possible discrepancies, and pictures are taken . After an engineering and quality review, the gear is issued a stock tag, and all the applicable airworthiness release certificates. If a gear is scheduled to ship, it is shrink wrapped and crated with a complete work package. If a gear is for stock it will be logged into inventory and entered into its proper location.

If a component is part of a gear to be assembled then it will travel to the assembly department to a designated assembly bay. If a component is a piece part, it will be logged into inventory and entered into the stockroom in its appropriate location. Gears and components are assembled in accordance with all current overhaul manuals, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.
